Running for its 16th year between 6th –12th Feb, #NAW2023 brings businesses and apprentices together across the country to highlight the positive impact apprenticeships make to individuals, businesses, and the wider economy.
Skills For Life
The theme for National Apprenticeship Week 2023 is “Skills for Life”; reflecting on how apprenticeships can help individuals to develop the skills and knowledge required for a rewarding career, and businesses to develop a talented workforce that is equipped with future-ready skills.
Graham Gambles, Managing Director, and Senior Service & Breakdown Engineer at Lewington’s, began his career with us as an apprentice over 25 years ago, working his way up to top. In fact, all four of our directors started with apprenticeships with Lewington Heating.
Lewington’s are proud to have 8 apprentices on our team building their careers. We’re working hard to support them to gain experience and knowledge, develop their confidence and skill sets, and enable them to pass their qualifications through Leicester College.
